We invite you to join us for the Inaugural Leadership Meeting of The American MedAesthetic Association (AMAA), to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the Saturday of the President’s Day Weekend in 2017. The future leaders of the AMAA will be selected from this elite group of special invitees and their associates, limited to only the first 100 of the most accomplished and upcoming MedAesthetic Practitioners in the USA.
The AMAA is the ONLY medical meeting exclusively dedicated to Non-Core, or what we now term, MedAesthetic Practitioners, who specialize in minimally invasive aesthetic medicine–but are not the Core specialties of Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. We have chosen to focus upon this because there are many all-inclusive aesthetic medicine conferences where half the program is on surgical advances–of little or no value to non-surgeons. Moreover, we now know that MedAesthetic Practitioners constitute more than half of the minimally invasive practitioners in the USA and are growing most rapidly…
The AMAA Aesthetic Program is focused on minimally invasive aesthetic medicine with lectures on the latest techniques including: cosmetic wrinkle filler injections, advanced neurotoxins, anti-bruising microcannula, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), microneedling, lasers, radio-frequency, cosmetic combination treatments, and facial anatomy instruction. Future topics may include body shaping, stem cell, and cutting edge technology in all areas of aesthetic medicine–except surgery–hence our members, who are primarily non-surgeons, will find that every lecture may have content of great or potential value.
We also recognize how critical it is to learn the business side of medicine, which was not part of our traditional medical education, but is absolutely essential for success. Hence the AMAA Business Program includes lectures on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Website Design, Information Technology (IT) Optimization, and Aesthetic Medical Insurance.
The increasing domination of government and managed care into the practice of medicine has led to markedly increasing overhead costs concurrent with an alarming decline in practice reimbursement. Procedures and practices which patients will pay for in cash–such as MedAesthetic Medicine, Concierge Medicine, and Hormone Replacement Therapy–are THE solutions the AMAA will prepare you for success.
The AMAA is honored to have so many of the TOP Experts in the USA express interest in lecturing, and as a result, the AMAA Preliminary Program for The MedAesthetic Leadership Boot Camp for 2017 cannot accommodate any additional Speakers. However, AMAA members, Doctors, Dentists, Nurses and Nurse Practitioners are invited to submit their CV and abstracts on topics for potential lectures to join the Teaching Faculty for 2018 conference or the Advisory Board of the AMAA. Preference is given for national/international aesthetic medicine lecturers, published authors, award winners, thought leaders, with extensive clinical experience, and innovators of advanced aesthetic techniques or applications. In view of the accelerating interest in the AMAA, the AMAA 2018 Conference is planned to grow to a two-day conference to encompass more of the topics of special interest to attendees.
The American MedAesthetic Association (AMAA) also recommends all members preferentially attend these MAP friendly conferences: The Aesthetic Show and The American Society of Cosmetic Physicians. We commend them for their leadership and vision of how we all can work together to better serve the patients who have honored us all with their care.
